Overall I would rate this property a 3 stars, the beach and the breakfast was lovely but all the hidden fees were what brought this down for me. Nowhere on Expedia does it say you have to pay for the cabanas on the beach, or for extra towels, everything in the mini bar (although this one is hit or miss, a lot of the 4 star places I stay in usually have the first round free and then anything extra is added one). Our first day at the beach the lifeguard actually said to not worry about the fee and pay for it next time, turns out he added it to the bill anyways which we had to pay at the end of the stay. The hotel itself is outdated and in need of a refresh. Overall majority of the staff were nice, one or two were rude but we brushed that off due to the language barrier. During my time in Sardinia I also stayed in another 4 star hotel and felt so welcomed there and it also had top tier facilities, which may also contribute to me giving this a 3 star…

Pleasant staff, delicious food. Parking available, beach is very close. Beach is well looked after. The only downside was the cleaning on the day we did not have coffee pods and hair conditioner replenished. But overall stunning hotel.

The property is located right on the beach and so convenient. Sirius Playa offers very good breakfast and dinner options. The rooms are comfortable but try to get one with a beach view. Cocktails are special especially the Sirius Spritz - super unique and delicious. It is a short drive away from Cagliari and easy to get too.

What a wonderful place. I absolutely loved staying here. From the moment you arrive the staff are so welcoming without being intrusive. The place is spotless. My favourite area was the lounge that looks over to the pool. It was as if I was transported to the Caribbean. The plants and trees gave it a very stylish ambiance. The food was incredible. Beautiful breakfasts with anything you could need to a simple but delightful dinner. The beach is 1 minute away and is stunning. The small town is 15 minutes walk and has everything you may need plus a few shops for Sardinian souvenirs. I loved this place.

I have seen on social media and reviews of this hotel that state that the staff were miserable and that none of them spoke English and tended to be very standoffish. What I found here was that the staff were exceptional and very eager to please all of the staff spoke English and understood everything. They were very helpful with information on the area and places to eat. The restaurant here was exceptional and very high-quality. The beach area attached to this hotel was also very friendly and the beach was very clean and the water was crystal clear . The hotel itself was clean and was decorated with a mixture of African and Thai furniture. The service here was impeccable and representative of service of the olden days where customer is King and all that you needed was carried out immediately. Please note that this area of Sardinia is quieter than the north they’re all no ancient villages to wander around, but it’s perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to anyone..

1. Very close to the beach and walking distance to Villasimius 2. Suite with huge balcony and nice sea view 3. Huge room, New bathrooms, very comfortable beds 4. Breakfast, Dinner and Bar Area out of a Humphrey Bogart movie. 5. Very nice Service and Dinner a la carte Dont like 1. Sunbeds on the beach are too close to each other. 2. Our Suite could have been a little more cosy 3. No elevator, but no Problem as the Service people take care of luggage

Too expensive for what it offers

Too expensive for what it offers. There is nothing special to charge such a high rate. The location is good, but the beach service such as the umbrella and chair are not included in such high rate, and it is not clearly stated anywhere. Breakfast is included, but you need to pay extra for a fresh orange juice when you are paying a rate of more than U$300/night. Not reasonable. The highlight is the service at the hotel bar, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The service at the front desk not the best, specially when the guy is the one talking to you. I forgot the name. The location is good, but you absolutely need a car since it is isolated from everything.

We are repeat guests of this place. We love it and we love the staff, Barbara , Sergei, Giovanni, Antonio , the chef , the housekeepers and the rest of the crew. They are all so kind and helpful and very service minded. The food is top notch, and they serve their own wine and olive oil from their own gardens. The outside gym is one of our favorite parts of this place. It’s a beautiful hotel with elegant decoration and the location is unbeatable. The owners are so kind and they really care about their guests. We will be back many times for many more years to come.
